The JAMBLASTERS had a private party over the new year and brought 2009 in with a popping of the champaign cork! Ralph opened the doors to our invite only event. Peg, Michelle and others put together wonderful finger foods! This was the first public appearance of sorts with THE JAMBLASTERS new line up. I am getting very excited for sure! The band sounded fantastic!
We are planning to do a photo shoot soon so that we can show off the new talent so to speak.
Anyways we hope this post finds everyone in good health and that everyone has the best year ever!
Cheers Hills

Riley and I have decided to write a Christmas tune that depicts the mood for many Canadian families this year. The struggle’s are felt all over our big beautiful country, even worse the world. We would like to ask everyone to lend an ear! The tune is posted at our Garageband account.

In order that the Library and Archives Canada holdings may be as complete as possible, they have decided that the JAMBLASTERS recording of LIVING THE BLUES, and any future recordings, are to be archived in the library as a part of our Canadian Heritage.
Needless to say THE JAMBLASTERS are proud to be to be recognized for the music that we love to create and perform. Happy holidays friends, hope this post finds you all in good cheer.

Today THE JAMBLASTERS new lineup had their first practice. If all goes well we should be on our way to recording our second CD in the next couple of months. Chris Vargas, Hills and Peter will be getting the recorded guide beds lined up next week some time. Ralph, Wally, Peter, Hills and Riley will be going over the basic structures of the current list of new songs and picking the best tracks to create a theme.
